Hawks activate Delk from injured list
Miami, FL (Sports Network) – The struggling Atlanta Hawks activated guard
Tony Delk from the injured list on Wednesday.
Delk, who was sidelined the last five games due to a left hand contusion, is
third on the squad with an average of 11.4 points in 22 games this season. He
missed the first eight games of the season with a knee injury.
In order to make room for Delk on the roster, the Hawks placed rookie guard
Royal Ivey on the IL with right knee tendinitis. Ivey is averaging 3.8 points
in 25 games this season.
Atlanta, which plays the Miami Heat Wednesday night, totes the worst record in
the Eastern Conference at 7-28.
