Knight sidelined with ankle sprain
Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats will be without guard
Brevin Knight because of a sprained ankle on Friday when they host the Dallas
Mavericks at Charlotte Coliseum.
Knight, who is second in the NBA with 9.3 assists per game, was injured in the
first quarter of Charlotte’s 107-105 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on
Wednesday. Knight is also listed as doubtful for Sunday’s tilt with the
Jason Hart, who scored a team-high 19 points in Wednesday’s loss, replaced
Knight and is expected to start in his place on Friday.
Knight, in his eighth NBA season, has posted 7.5 points in 29 games this
season. Hart, meanwhile, has averaged nine points and 5.6 assists in 30 games
Charlotte has lost six straight and 12 of its last 13 games.
