(Sports Network) – The Atlantic Division-leading 76ers posted a huge 106-98
victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Miami Heat on Monday night at the
Wachovia Center.

Allen Iverson poured in 45 points and handed out 11 assists in the victory.
Iverson made 13-of-30 shots from the field for the Sixers, who won for the
third time in four games. The Sixers’ star guard also had four steals,
committed just one turnover and connected on 18-of-19 foul shots.

Samuel Dalembert finished with 16 points and 11 rebounds for Philadelphia,
while Kyle Korver collected 14 points, six boards and six assists. Corliss
Williamson added 12 points in the victory.

Philadelphia outrebounded the Heat, 49-40. The Sixers made 33-of-39 foul shots
(85 percent), while Miami hit just 25-of-37 from the stripe (68 percent).
Philadelphia shot 41.7 percent from the field, including 3-of-11 (.273) from
three-point range.

Prior to the game, the Sixers placed guard Kevin Ollie on the injured list,
while activating forward Josh Davis.

Philadelphia will now embark on a three-game road trip starting in Washington
on Wednesday. The 76ers also will go to New Orleans (Friday) and Dallas
(Saturday) on the swing.

The Sixers currently sit atop the Atlantic Division, one game ahead second
