James misses Cavs loss
Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – Cleveland Cavaliers guard LeBron James
missed Friday night’s 99-96 loss to the New York Knicks due to a sprained left
James suffered the injury early in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night’s win
over Memphis when he landed on the foot of the Grizzlies’ Dahntay Jones.
Tests on the ankle Thursday revealed no further damage and the All-Star was
listed as a game-time decision.
James, who is averaging 27.8 points, 9.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists in his last
nine games, is scoring an average of 25 points, dishing out 7.6 assists and
grabbing 7.4 rebounds per game this season.
