Celtics activate Gugliotta from IL
Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Boston Celtics activated forward Tom
Gugliotta from the injured list prior to Saturday’s game at Chicago.
Gugliotta, who had been on the injured list since January 21 with a right
ankle sprain, is averaging only 1.2 points this season.
The 13-year veteran, who was also sidelined with back pain earlier this year,
has career averages of 13.3 points and 7.5 rebounds.
To make room on the roster, Boston placed rookie forward Justin Reed on the IL
with a sore right knee. Reed had just been activated on Friday when Al
Jefferson was shelved with a sprained right ankle.
