Sonics to be without McMillan indefinitely
Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – Seattle SuperSonics head coach Nate
McMillan has taken an indefinite leave of absence from the club to attend the
funeral of his mother, team officials announced Monday.
McMillan missed practice and flew to Raleigh, NC on Sunday, the day Jeanette
Tyson passed away at age 62.
Associate head coach Dwane Casey will take over the team, which hosts San
Antonio on Monday and visits Sacramento on Tuesday.
