Warriors’ Robinson suspended for violating drug policy
New York, NY (Sports Network) – The NBA Tuesday suspended Golden State
Warriors forward Clifford Robinson five games without pay for violation of
the league’s anti-drug program.
Robinson’s suspension will begin Wednesday when the Warriors host Sacramento.
The 38-year-old Robinson has played in 40 of Golden State’s 44 games thus far
and is averaging 8.8 points and 26.4 minutes per game. The 16-year veteran was
a 1994 all-star with Portland and won the NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award in
1992-93 after averaging 19.1 points and 6.6 rebounds as a member of the Trail
