Mavs activate Daniels off IL
Dallas, TX (Sports Network) – The Dallas Mavericks activated guard Marquis
Daniels off the injured list on Tuesday and placed DJ Mbenga on the IL with a
strained right hamstring.
Daniels has missed the last 14 games with a sore left ankle, an injury that
has plagued him from the start of the season.
In 27 contests this season, the 6-foot-6 Daniels is averaging 9.6 points, 4.3
rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.
Daniels will be active for tonight’s matchup with the Miami Heat, the
same team he recorded a season-high 22 points against on Nov. 11. The
Mavericks have gone 10-4 in his absence.
