rebounds to help lift Miami over Orlando, 100-88, at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Eddie Jones added 22 points and Dwyane Wade chipped in 20 for Miami, which has
won four of five. Udonis Haslem collected nine points with 11 boards, while
Keyon Dooling came off the pine to net 13 in the win. LeBron James, who
earlier in the day was voted as a starter for the All-Star game — his
first-ever appearance, poured in 31 points to go along with 10 assists to
pace Cleveland. The 20-year-old James, last year’s NBA Rookie of the
Year, is the second- youngest All-Star starter in NBA history behind Kobe
Bryant, who was 19 when he started in 1998. Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 23
points and Jeff McInnis contributed 13 for the Cavaliers, who have dropped
two straight and four of six.

chipped in 25 to lead the Los Angeles Clippers past the Memphis Grizzlies,
106-103, at FedExForum. Elton Brand added 17 points and 11 rebounds for the
Clippers, who won their third straight game and for the fifth time in their
last six tries. Jason Williams had 15 points and six assists for Memphis,
which had a three- game winning streak stopped and fell for just the
second time in its last seven tries Los Angeles, which kicked off a nine-
game road trip this evening, snapped a six-game road losing streak with the
win and won for just the second time in its last 12 away from home.

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Tony Parker scored 22 points and Tim Duncan
shook off an early knee injury to finish with 17, as the San Antonio Spurs
downed the Los Angeles Lakers, 103-91, at Staples Center. Duncan was injured
in the second quarter when his knee became tangled under the basket, but he
came back to start the second half. Officially, Duncan hyperextended the
left knee , but he is not expected to miss any time. Malik Rose contributed 19
points and 11 rebounds while Manu Ginobili posted 17 points and nine assists
for the Spurs, who have won four straight games. Lamar Odom led the way for
the Lakers with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Chucky Atkins added 18 points for
Los Angeles, which has dropped four of its last six. Caron Butler finished
with 14 points in the losing effort. This marked the Lakers’ first game
since former head coach Rudy Tomjanovich officially resigned on Wednesday.
Interim head coach Frank Hamblen took over for Tomjanovich, who stepped down
after a few days of rumors that he would bow out due to health concerns.
