the Air Canada Centre. Josh Howard added 18 and Jason Terry netted 15 for
Dallas, which has won four of six. Erick Dampier collected 13 points while
hauling down 12 boards for his fifth straight double-double in the win. Chris

remaining as Houston held off a furious comeback by the Los Angeles Lakers to
hang on for a wild 103-102 win at the Toyota Center. Yao ended with 23 points
while Bob Sura and David Wesley each netted 19 points for the Rockets, who
have won four straight. Tracy McGrady added 21 points for Houston, which hung
on for the win despite going without a field goal in the final 5:30 of the
contest. Lamar Odom paced the Lakers with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Chucky Atkins added 21 and Jumaine Jones collected 18 points with 13
rebounds for the Lakers, who fell to 0-2 under interim head coach Frank
Hamblen, who took over for former head coach Rudy Tomjanovich.
