Memphis’ Williams misses game

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – The Memphis Grizzlies were without point guard
Jason Williams for Sunday’s game against the Indiana Pacers.

Williams is sidelined with a sore left foot. The injury caused him to miss
practice Saturday, and he was unable to give it a go for Sunday’s tilt with

It’s not the first time this season the former University of Florida standout
missed action due to a foot malady. Williams was on the injured list in
December with a sprained right foot.

Williams is averaging 11.3 points and 6.2 assists per contest for the
Grizzlies this season.

In addition to missing Williams, the Grizzlies were also without reserve
center Jake Tsakalidis, who is bothered by a neck sprain.
