Bryant back in lineup for Lakers

Cleveland, OH (Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Lakers activated guard Kobe
Bryant from the injured list prior to their 103-89 loss to LeBron James
and the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at Gund Arena.

Kobe Bryant, who had been sidelined with a sprained ankle, started in his
return from the 14-game stint on the injured list and had 26 points for the
Lakers, who dropped their fifth game in six tries and eighth contest in their
last 11.

Bryant showed a little bit of rust late, as he connected on 7- of-22 shots
from the floor in 41 minutes. However, after hitting 50-percent of his shots
in the first half, Bryant made just 1-of-10 in the second half.

Bryant came into the game averaging 27.5 points, 6.6 assists and 6.3 rebounds
per contest. He is second in the league in scoring, behind Philadelphia’s
Allen Iverson.

To make room for Bryant on the roster, the Lakers placed rookie guard Tony
Bobbitt on the injured list with a sprained ankle.
