=== Los Angeles Clippers Team Report – February 15 ===

(Sports Network) – The fading Los Angeles Clippers will try to stop a five-
game losing streak on Tuesday, when they continue their NBA-high nine-game
road trip against the Orlando Magic at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Los Angeles is just 1-5 on its road swing and only 6-18 in foreign buildings
this season. The Clippers’ struggles continued on Sunday afternoon, as they
fell 109-106 to the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

Elton Brand paced the Clippers with 26 points and 11 rebounds. It was the 24th
double-double of the season for Brand. Bobby Simmons netted 21 points on 10-
of-15 shooting, Corey Maggette contributed 17 points and six boards and Shaun
Livingston chipped in 10 points and nine assists in the loss.

Zeljko Rebraca had 14 points for Los Angeles, which shot 47.1 percent from the
field in the loss. The Clippers hit 2-of-7 (.286) from three-point range and
24-of-30 (.800) from the free throw line. Los Angeles outrebounded the
Raptors, 46-43, in the losing effort.

The Clippers placed G Kerry Kittles on the injured list with a lower-back
injury on Saturday and activated Livingston. Guard Marko Jaric missed Sunday’s
game due to soreness in his right foot. Jaric is questionable for tonight’s
contest.

LA will visit Shaquille O’Neal and the Miami Heat on Wednesday in its final
game before the All-Star break. It will be the second and final meeting of the
season between the clubs. On January 14th, the Clippers defeated the Heat,
114-112, in double-overtime at the Staples Center.

Brand has registered three straight double-doubles and is averaging 23.7
points and 11 boards in that span. The Duke product has averaged 20.4 points
and a team-high 9.6 rebounds so far this season.
