Bulls activate Davis from IL
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls Wednesday activated forward
Antonio Davis from the injured list.
Davis, who had been sidelined with a back injury, is expected to be in uniform
when Chicago visits Toronto on Wednesday night.
The 36-year-old Davis, who is in his 12th NBA season, is averaging 6.0 points
and 5.6 rebounds in 38 games this year. Prior to arriving in the Windy City in
2003, the Texas-El Paso product spent the first six years of his career with
Indiana before being traded to the Raptors.
To make room on the roster, Chicago placed rookie center Jared Reiner on the
IL with a left quadriceps strain. Reiner is averaging 1.6 points and 2.3
boards in eight games this year.
