=== Seattle SuperSonics Team Report – February 22 ===

(Sports Network) – The surprising Seattle SuperSonics visit the red-hot
Houston Rockets on Tuesday at the Toyota Center.

It will be the first meeting of the season between the clubs. The teams will
meet three more times as Seattle will host the Rockets on March 8th and April
11th, while Houston will host the Sonics on April 20th.

The road team has won three straight meetings in this series, while the home
team has won nine of the last 14 contests. Seattle has won two straight and
three of its last four at Houston.

The surprising Sonics try to get back on the winning track tonight, as they
come into the contest having lost two in a row. Last Wednesday, Jason
Richardson poured in a game-high 30 points, while Derek Fisher netted 21 and
dished out seven assists as the Golden State Warriors defeated Seattle,
117-110, at KeyArena.

Ray Allen paced Seattle with 26 points and Antonio Daniels dropped in 19 off
the bench in the loss to Golden State for the Sonics. Rashard Lewis added 17
points in the losing effort, while Nick Collison had career-highs of 16 points
and 12 rebounds.

The Sonics have a commanding 10-game lead over the second-place Minnesota
Timberwolves in the Northwest Division.

Seattle is 16-7 on the road this season.

Allen is Seattle’s leading scorer at 23.9 points per game, while Reggie Evans
leads the team in rebounding (9.2 rpg) and Luke Ridnour is the teams in
assists at 6.0 per contests.

The Sonics will visit the New Orleans Hornets on February 23rd before
returning home to host the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. Seattle will then
embark on a three-game road trip, as it will visit the Milwaukee Bucks on
Sunday at the Bradley Center for the first game of the swing.
