=== Atlanta Hawks Team Report – February 24 ===

(Sports Network) – The Hawks dropped a 101-96 decision to the Golden State
Warriors at The Arena in Oakland on Wednesday night.

Antoine Walker netted a team-high 27 points for the Hawks, who have dropped 17
straight road games and six in a row overall. Atlanta has a dismal 2-24 record
as the visiting team this season.

Walker hit 11-of-25 from the field, including 5-of-7 from three-point range.
The talented Walker, who had posted 20.4 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest
this season, was sent back to the Boston Celtics in a deadline deal on
Thursday afternoon. In the deal, the Hawks received Gary Payton, Michael
Stewart and Tom Gugliotta.

Payton, who will have his contract run out after the season, has averaged 12.1
points, 6.1 assists and 1.2 steals in 54 games this season. Stewart and
Gugliotta had seen limited action for the Celtics on the year.

Josh Childress posted 17 points and 15 rebounds in the loss, while Al
Harrington chipped in 14 points and 14 boards. Tyronn Lue tacked on 12 points
and eight assists in the defeat. Childress has emerged as a consistent scoring
threat as of late, registering double-figures in six of the last seven games.

Atlanta shot 42.3 percent from the field, including 6-of-15 (.400) from three-
point range. The Hawks hit 8-of-13 (.615) from the free throw line. Atlanta
outrebounded the Warriors, 59-50, in the contest.

Atlanta guard Tony Delk left the game with a left hand contusion. Delk is
listed as day-to-day.

Atlanta is 28th in the league in scoring offense (90.7 ppg) and 24th in points
allowed (99.9). The Hawks are a league-worst -9.3 in point differential and
25th in shooting percentage (.435).

The Hawks have a day off before continuing their seven-game road trip in
Portland on Friday night.
