=== Los Angeles Clippers Team Report – February 28 ===

(Sports Network) – The Los Angeles Clippers try to extend their winning
streak to three games, as they visit the Utah Jazz on Monday at the Delta
Center.

It will be the third meeting of the season between the clubs. In the two
previous contests, the teams split a pair of games as each club picked up a
win on its homecourt. The Clippers will host the Jazz on April 12th in the
final meeting of the 2004-05 campaign between the squads.

The Jazz have won six of the last eight meetings in the series. The Clippers
have lost four straight and an unbelievable 30 of their last 31 at Utah.

On Sunday, Corey Maggette and Bobby Simmons combined to score 49 points, as
the Clippers used a huge fourth quarter to defeat the Atlanta Hawks, 111-104,
at the Staples Center. Maggette scored a game-high 25 points and Simmons added
24 for the Clippers, who have won back-to-back games on the heel of an eight-
game losing streak.

Chris Kaman posted 14 points and 10 rebounds in Sunday’s victory, while Elton
Brand notched 12 points and 13 boards.

The Clippers are a dismal 6-21 on the road this season. LA has lost eight
straight and 14 of its last 15 as the visitor.

After Monday’s game, LA returns home for three contests. The Clippers will
host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and the
Memphis Grizzlies on March 7th.

Maggette has scored 20 or more points in each of his four last four games. He
is averaging 25.3 points and six rebounds in that span. The Duke product leads
the Clippers in scoring at 20.9 points per game.
