Nets activate Buford

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – The New Jersey Nets activated guard Rodney
Buford from the injured list prior to Wednesday’s game at the Philadelphia

Buford has missed New Jersey’s last 13 games after tearing ligaments in his
left ankle in a January 29 win over the Utah Jazz.

Prior to the injury Buford averaged 8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 24.7 minutes
in 43 games, including 17 starts.

A five-year NBA veteran, Buford signed with the Nets as a free agent last
summer after spending the 2003-04 campaign with Sacramento.
