Mavs’ Stackhouse placed on injured list

Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) – The Dallas Mavericks placed guard Jerry
Stackhouse on the injured list Friday with a nagging groin injury.

Stackhouse has missed the last two contests and 10 overall since first
straining his groin in early January. He also missed time this season with an
injured hand.

The 30-year-old Stackhouse came to Dallas from the Wizards as part of an
offseason trade that landed Antawn Jamison in Washington. In 45 games this
season for the Mavericks, he is averaging 15.6 points per contest.

Meanwhile, the club activated center Pavel Podkolzin from the injured list.
Podkolzin has been sidelined most of the year with a knee injury.
