Rockets activate Sura
Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – The Houston Rockets activated guard Bob Sura
from the injured list prior to Friday’s game at Phoenix.
Sura was placed on the IL on February 24 because of inflammation of scar
tissue surrounding his vertebrae and missed five games. The 31-year-old
underwent back surgery on September 21 which forced him to miss the first 14
contests of the season
In a related move the Rockets placed guard Moochie Norris on the injured list
due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot.
Sura, in his first season with the Rockets, is averaging 10.8 points in 39
games to go along with career-best averages of 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists
and 1.28 steals.
Norris, who was acquired by Houston in a trade with the New York Knicks last
month, is averaging 2.5 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 35 games this
