New York, NY (Sports Network) – Orlando Magic forward Stacey Augmon was
suspended one game without pay stemming from an incident that occurred in a
March 13 game.

NBA senior vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson handed out the
suspension after it was determined that Augmon screamed obscenities and threw
lotion at a member of the media.

Augmon, in his first season with Orlando, served the suspension Tuesday night
against the LA Clippers and is eligible to play in Wednesday’s game against
the Sacramento Kings.

In addition, Jackson also announced that Magic guard DeShawn Stevenson was
fined $7,500 after he kicked the basketball into the crowd.

Both occurrences took place following Orlando’s 98-82 setback to the Nets on
Sunday night at TD Waterhouse Centre.
