Minnesota activates Johnson from injured list
Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) – The Minnesota Timberwolves activated
center Ervin Johnson from the injured list on Friday, while placing forward
Mark Madsen on the IL.
Johnson had been sidelined with a ruptured ligament in his right wrist and
last played on March 10. In 43 games this season, the 37-year-old veteran has
averaged just 1.6 points and 2.5 rebounds a game.
Madsen, meanwhile, is out for the rest of the season after suffering a right
wrist injury against the Dallas Mavericks back on March 15. The wrist will
require surgery at a later date.
