Iverson, Allen named NBA Players of the Week

New York, NY (Sports Network) – Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson and
guard Ray Allen of the Seattle SuperSonics have been selected the NBA Eastern
and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played
between March 21-27.

Iverson was the driving force behind three Sixers’ victories in three games,
as the All-Star averaged 31.7 points, 10.7 assists, 3.3 steals and 2.3
rebounds. Iverson racked up 39 points, 10 assists and five steals in
Philadelphia’s 107-84 win over Detroit on March 23, then followed up with a
36-point, seven assist performance against Toronto two days later. He also hit
