Bulls’ Curry receiving treatment for irregular heartbeat

Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls announced Thursday that
center Eddy Curry will remain in Charlotte and undergo observation and
treatment for an irregular heartbeat.

Curry, who did not accompany the team back to Chicago for tonight’s home game
versus Cleveland, missed Wednesday’s contest against the Bobcats after
suffering from the ailment prior to the game.

“Right before the game, I felt some light-headedness and dizziness,” the 6-11,
285-pound Curry told The Chicago Tribune. “It came out of nowhere, so it
really kind of scared me a little bit.”

The fourth-year center is averaging a team-high 16.1 points and 5.4 rebounds
per game this season. Curry, 22, has posted 11.8 points and 4.9 boards in 289
career games — all with Chicago.
