(Sports Network) – The Raptors will try to get back on the winning track this
evening, when they tangle with expansion Charlotte Bobcats at Charlotte
Coliseum.

Toronto has dropped two straight, six of eight and seven of its last 10
contests, including a 108-96 defeat to Orlando at TD Waterhouse Centre on
Wednesday.

Rafer Alston paced the Raptors with 17 points, while Chris Bosh and Morris
Peterson each posted double-doubles in a losing effort. Bosh ended with 16
points and 11 boards, while Peterson finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Donyell Marshall had 14 points and Milt Palacio tacked on 10 off the pine.

Jalen Rose chipped in 11 points for the Raptors, who shot an impressive 49
percent from the field. Rose was held out of the entire fourth quarter of the
defeat.

Toronto drained 8-of-17 (.471) from three-point range,
but hurt itself with 23 turnovers. The Raptors hit 14-of-17 (.824) from the
charity stripe.

The Raptors have lost eight of their last 12 road contests to fall to 8-29 in
foreign buildings. Toronto is closing out a four-game road swing this evening.

These teams have split a pair of meetings this season with the home team
winning both contests. Charlotte registered a 101-94 victory over the Raptors
at Charlotte Coliseum on January 28.

Following tonight’s contest, the Raptors will have a day off before hosting
Detroit on Sunday.
