(Sports Network) – The expansion Charlotte Bobcats will attempt to snap a
four-game skid this evening, when they host the Los Angeles Clippers at
Charlotte Coliseum.

Charlotte’s recent woes continued on Saturday, dropping a 112-97 decision to
the red hot Chicago Bulls at the United Center. Emeka Okafor posted game-
highs of 28 points and 16 rebounds for the Bobcats, while Matt Carroll scored
a personal-best 20 in the loss. Okafor has tallied four consecutive double-

Jason Hart tallied 13 points and Primoz Brezec added 10 in the losing effort.
The Bobcats shot 43.6 percent from the field, including only 1-of-7 (.143)
from three-point range. Charlotte hit 28-of-36 (.778) from the free throw

The Bobcats outrebounded the Bulls, 43-36, but committed 18 crucial turnovers
which led to 24 Chicago points. Charlotte registered eight blocks in the

Following tonight’s game, the Bobcats will hit the road to take on the
Philadelphia 76ers at the Wachovia Center on Wednesday. Charlotte also has
road tilts versus Milwaukee (Friday) and Memphis (Sunday) remaining on its
week’s slate.
