New York, NY (Sports Network) – The NBA issued one-game suspensions Monday to
Dallas Mavericks guard Jerry Stackhouse and Utah Jazz guard Kirk Snyder for a
postgame altercation between the players over the weekend.

The incident took place outside the locker rooms following Dallas’ 88-81
victory over the Jazz on Saturday.

Stackhouse, who is averaging 14.9 points in his first season with the
Mavericks, will serve his suspension during Monday night’s game against

Snyder, a rookie, will serve his suspension when Utah visits the Los Angeles
Clippers on Tuesday.

In addition, both players will not receive pay for the games missed.
