Spurs hold slim halftime lead in Game 3

Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) – San Antonio survived an early second
quarter Detroit run to lead 42-41 at halftime in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

The Spurs are looking for a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series after taking
Games 1 and 2 at home.

They led by six points at the end of the first quarter, fell behind after a
7-0 Pistons run to start the second, and then took the first half lead for
good on a Robert Horry three-pointer in the final minute.

Tim Duncan is leading the way with 10 points and eight rebounds through two
quarters. Four Pistons players have eight points apiece.
