Bobcats add Voskuhl, deal Hart
Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) – The Charlotte Bobcats made a pair of
trades Tuesday, acquiring center Jake Voskuhl from Phoenix and shipping guard
Jason Hart to Sacramento.
Voskuhl was obtained for a conditional second-round pick in the 2007 draft.
The five-year veteran played sparingly with the Suns last season, averaging
2.1 points and 9.5 minutes in 38 games. He is expected to serve as the backup
for reigning Rookie of the Year Emeka Okafor.
“Jake is the type of player that fits into system with his versatility and
ability to play on both ends of the floor,” said Bobcats general manager and
head coach Bernie Bickerstaff. “His experience will be valuable to our younger
