Chicago, IL (Sports Network) – The Chicago Bulls re-signed unrestricted free
agent forward Othella Harrington on Wednesday.
Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Harrington appeared in 70 games with the Bulls last season, averaging 8.0
points and 4.2 rebounds. He joined the team in a six-player trade with the New
York Knicks on August 5, 2004.
“Othella was a valuable contributor in many different ways last season. Having
him back will add to the continuity of the team and further facilitate the
development of our young big players,” said Executive Vice President of
Basketball Operations John Paxson.
A nine-year veteran, Harrington has played in 589 games and holds career
averages of 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds.
