Raptors waive forward Murray
Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – The Toronto Raptors waived forward Lamond
Murray, the team announced on Friday.
Murray, an 11-year veteran, played 62 games last season for the Raptors and
averaged 6.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest.
The California product spent the past two years in Toronto after three seasons
with Cleveland. Murray, 32, was a first-round draft pick of the Los Angeles
Clippers in 1995 before being traded to the Cavaliers in August 1999.
In 679 career games (363 starts), Murray has averaged 11.9 points, 4.3
rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest.
