Sonics exercise options on Collison and Ridnour
Seattle, WA (Sports Network) – The Seattle SuperSonics have exercised fourth-
year options on forward Nick Collison and guard Luke Ridnour.
Collison and Ridnour both didn’t miss a regular season game last season.
Collison averaged 5.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and shot 54 percent from the field.
Ridnour averaged 10 points and 5.9 assists, and his 88.3 percentage from the
free throw line was sixth-best in the NBA.
“We’re very excited about the futures of both these young men,” said Sonics
general manager Rick Sund. “For Nick and Luke, team success has always been
their top priority and they continue to use their individual talents to make
their teammates better.”
