Hornets trade Magloire to Milwaukee
Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) – The Hornets traded center Jamaal Magloire
to the Milwaukee Bucks. In exchange, New Orleans/Oklahoma City will receive
swingman Desmond Mason, a 2006 first-round draft pick and an undisclosed
amount of cash.
Magloire, a 2004 All-Star, will add a physical and imposing presence to
Milwaukee’s frontcourt that includes Dan Gadzuric and 2005 No. 1 overall pick
The 6-11 Magloire appeared in only 23 games last year due to a broken right
ring finger and averaged 11.7 points and 8.9 rebounds. In 2003-04, the 27-
year-old appeared in his only All-Star game by posting career-highs with 13.6
points and 10.3 boards per contest.

2000 NBA Draft, the Kentucky product has netted 9.5 points and grabbed 7.4
rebounds in 343 career regular-season games.

quite some time after the team elected to keep All-Star guard Michael Redd.

career-high 17.2 points while hauling in 3.9 rebounds and dishing out 2.7
