Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) – Darius Miles drained a turnaround jumper from
the right side with 1.2 seconds remaining to give the Portland Trail Blazers a
77-75 victory over the Atlanta Hawks at Philips Arena. Zach Randolph notched
a double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds for Portland, which snapped
a two-game losing streak. Al Harrington led Atlanta with 16 points and Zaza
Pachulia added 15 points and grabbed 10 boards in the loss.

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Ron Artest scored 22 points and Austin
Croshere added 17 to lead the Indiana Pacers past the Los Angeles Clippers,
97-92, at Staples Center. Croshere also had eight rebounds and Jermaine
O’Neal chipped in 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Pacers, who have won four
of their last five games. Jamaal Tinsley and Stephen Jackson each added 15
points in the win. Elton Brand finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds for the
Clippers, who lost for the first time at home this season (5-1).

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Jason Kidd scored a season-high 35 points,
including five in overtime, to lift the New Jersey Nets to a 102-96 win over
the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center. Kidd added 12 assists while Nenad
Krstic had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Nets, who improved to 1-3 on
their current five-game road trip. Kobe Bryant poured in a season-high 46
points for the Lakers, who have dropped three of their last four games.
Brian Cook chipped in 14 points in the setback.
