Josh Howard sidelined with sprained right ankle
Dallas, TX (Sports Network) – Dallas Mavericks forward Josh Howard will be
sidelined indefinitely due to a sprained right ankle he suffered in Saturday
night’s 112-92 home loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Howard came down on Devin Harris’ foot late in the fourth quarter. MRI results
released on Monday revealed a moderate ankle sprain and no timetable has been
set for Howard’s return.
The 25-year-old Howard, who was the final pick of the first round in the 2003
NBA Draft, is averaging 15.1 points and 7.1 rebounds a game this season.
