‘Melo pours in 42 to lead Nuggets past struggling Bobcats

Charlotte, NC (Sports Network) – Carmelo Anthony poured in a career-high 42
points to pace the Denver Nuggets to a 101-85 victory over the Charlotte

Anthony shot 13-of-18 from the field and made 15-of-18 at the foul line, as
the Nuggets won for the fourth time in five games. Kenyon Martin and Earl
Watson each added 13 points while Andre Miller totaled 11 points and 11
assists for Denver. Marcus Camby had 10 points in the win.

Emeka Okafor finished with 17 points and 12 rebounds for Charlotte, which lost
its eighth consecutive contest. Kareem Rush and Sean May each added 13 points
while Brevin Knight had a game-high 16 assists for the Bobcats.

Denver outscored Charlotte 29-11 in the fourth quarter en route to the win.
