(Sports Network) – The Seattle SuperSonics will again be without star guard
Ray Allen this evening when they start a two-game road trip against the Los
Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.

Allen served the first game of his three-game suspension for his part in a
fight with Orlando’s Keyon Dooling on Wednesday and missed Seattle’s 117-104
loss to the Miami Heat on Friday at KeyArena.

Rashard Lewis had a game-high 33 points, while Luke Ridnour added 21 points
for the Sonics, who have dropped four of their last five games.

Seattle, which will wind down the brief trip in Golden State on Monday, is
6-11 away from home this season. The Sonics have been brutal on the defensive
end on the road this season, as they have given up 107.6 points per game, and
have allowed 100 or more points in 12 of their 17 road games.

The Clippers, meanwhile, come in on a winning note after Cuttino Mobley scored
18 points and Chris Kaman added 15 as Los Angeles defeated the Orlando Magic,
90-73, on Tuesday at the Staples Center.

Chris Wilcox, starting in place of the injured Elton Brand, scored just five
points but grabbed a career-high 14 rebounds in the victory. Brand is
questionable for tonight’s affair with a hip injury.

Sam Cassell tallied 13 points and Daniel Ewing added 10 points and six
rebounds to help the Clippers snap a two-game losing streak.

Los Angeles, which is in the midst of a seven-game homestand, is 11-5 in its
arena this season.

The Clippers defeated the Sonics to kick off the season and have won three of
the last four meetings. Seattle, though, has won 16 of the last 19 meetings in
Los Angeles against the Clips.
