Orlando’s Hill sidelined again
Orlando, FL (Sports Network) – Orlando Magic forward Grant Hill is expected
to be out for 7-to-10 days because of lingering effects from the sports hernia
surgery he had on October 31.
Hill has played in only 11 games for Orlando in 2005-06 and didn’t make his
season debut until December 14 against the Knicks. The seven-time All-Star has
averaged 16.8 points per outing for the year.
The 6-foot-8, 225-pound Hill started 67 games for the Magic last season, his
fourth with the team. He averaged 19.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists
per game and was selected as a starter for the Eastern Conference All-Star
The former Detroit Piston played in just 47 games in his first three seasons
with Orlando because of injuries, however.
In his career, Hill has appeared in 560 games and has compiled 20.7
points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists per contest.
