Hornets’ Andersen kicked out of NBA
New Orleans, LA (Sports Network) – Hornets forward Chris Andersen was kicked
out of the NBA on Friday for violating the league’s Anti-Drug Program.
What Andersen, 27, was dismissed from the league for testing positive for was
not disclosed. He can file for re-instatement in two years.
In 32 games this season, Andersen averaged 5.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.3
blocks. For his career, Andersen averaged 5.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4
blocks in 253 games with the Hornets and Nuggets.
