(Sports Network) – The Indiana Pacers, with just two regulars in the starting
lineup. have lost five consecutive games to fall to 21-21 and drop to fourth
place in the Eastern Conference’s Central Division.

Stephen Jackson and Austin Croshere were the only two starters left from
Indiana’s opening-day lineup to play in Friday’s 93-89 loss to the Cleveland
Cavaliers.

Jermaine O’Neal (groin), Jamaal Tinsley (elbow) and Ron Artest (traded to
Sacramento) were not in a starting lineup which included Danny Granger, Scot
Pollard and Anthony Johnson.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas tallied 27 points, including a 15-of-16 effort from the
charity stripe, while LeBron James paced the Cavs with 30 points, seven
rebounds and nine assists.

Granger poured in a career-high 21 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while Fred
Jones contributed 20 points and Sarunas Jasikevicius netted 14, both off the
bench.

The Pacers head to Washington for a matchup with the Wizards before returning
home for a long seven-game homestand. Indiana is 12-7 at the Conseco
Fieldhouse.

The team is 1-1 against the Wizards this year, winning 111-87 in December, but
falling 94-85 to Washington two weeks ago.

Jackson has averaged 20.5 ppg and Jones 15.5 in the two games against the
Wizards.

Forwards Jeff Foster (back) and Peja Stojakovic (trade) and guard Tinsley are
questionable for Tuesday’s game.
