Miami, 112-76, at American Airlines Center. Jason Terry netted 16 points
for Dallas, which got its league-leading 13th consecutive win, and is on
its longest winning streak since capturing a franchise-best 14 straight
to open the 2002-03 campaign. Dallas sits atop the Western Conference,
one-half game ahead of San Antonio. Josh Howard, Jerry Stackhouse and Keith
Van Horn each scored 14 points, while Erick Dampier added 11 rebounds.
Shaquille O’Neal scored 23 points and grabbed eight boards to pace Miami,
which has lost two of its last three games after winning four straight. Dwyane
Wade scored 16 points and dished eight assists for the Heat, who are 1-7
against division leaders. Wade’s 16 points notched a career-high 52nd straight
game in double figures.

added 20 in Sacramento’s 98-80 convincing win over the Chicago Bulls at ARCO
Arena. Shareef Abdur-Rahim contributed 15 points for the Kings, who tied a
season-high with their third consecutive victory. Sacramento shot just 40.8
percent, but hit 26-of-29 free throws while holding the Bulls to a 33.3
percent clip from the field, on the way to its seventh straight home win.
Andres Nocioni and Darius Songaila each had 14 points for Chicago, losers in
five of its last six.
