seven assists to help the Miami Heat record a 98-92 come-from-behind win over
the Cleveland Cavaliers at AmericanAirlines Arena. Shaquille O’Neal added 18
points and eight boards for the Heat, who won for the 11th time in 12
games. Alonzo Mourning registered 16 points and eight rebounds for Miami,
which rallied in the fourth quarter to take the lead for the first time in
the game. LeBron James had 47 points and seven boards to lead the Cavs,
who faltered down the stretch to fall for the second straight time.

San Antonio, TX (Sports Network) – Tim Duncan had 20 points and 10 rebounds to
lead San Antonio over Houston, 88-81, at AT&T Center. Michael Finley added
15 points and Manu Ginobili had 14 points, seven boards and five assists for
the Spurs, who two of three. Nazr Mohammed registered 11 points and eight
rebounds as San Antonio has won 17 straight against the Rockets at home.
Yao Ming had 25 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks for the Rockets, who had
a four-game winning streak come to a halt.Rafer Alston added 15 points for
Houston, which scored just 11 third-quarter points.

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) – Rashard Lewis scored 26 points to lead the
Seattle SuperSonics to a 120-113 win at the Staples Center. Chris Wilcox had
21 points and seven rebounds and Ray Allen added 19 points, 10 boards and
five assists for the Sonics, who have won two in a row and three of their last
four games. Kobe Bryant contributed 22 points and seven assists and Lamar
Odom netted 21 and dished out six assists for the Lakers, who had a two-game
winning streak snapped. Luke Walton chipped in 17 points on 10-of-10 shooting.

Memphis, TN (Sports Network) – Chris Webber turned in a huge all-around game
as Philadelphia downed the Memphis Grizzlies, 94-91, at FedEx Forum. Webber
scored 31 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, dished out nine assists and blocked
two shots, the second coming in the dying seconds to preserve the win for the
Sixers, who snapped a three-game skid. Allen Iverson scored 18 points, but
left the game in the second quarter with an ankle injury. Steven Hunter
scored 13 points and snatched nine boards and Andre Iguodala also tallied 13
points in the win. Jake Tsakalidis scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds,
while Pau Gasol and Mike Miller both scored 16 points for the Grizzlies, who
have now lost three of their last four games.

Boston, MA (Sports Network) – Paul Pierce scored 36 points, including the
final six points for the Celtics, to lead Boston to a 106-101 win over the
Denver Nuggets at TD Banknorth Garden. Wally Szczerbiak added 18 points,
five rebounds and five assists for the Celtics, who have won three of four.
Carmello Anthony scored 26 of his 36 points in the first half for the Nuggets,
who had a four-game winning streak halted. He hit his first 11 baskets of the
game, but went just 3-of-9 from the floor over the final 24 minutes as Denver
lost to Boston for the first time since March 17, 2004.

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) – Morris Peterson scored 25 points, Mike
James had the game-winning basket in the final seconds, and Toronto set the
NBA all-time record at 595 consecutive games with a three-pointer to beat
Indiana 93-89 at Air Canada Centre. Peterson scored a trey with 1:41 left
in the first quarter to cut Toronto’s deficit to 21-17 and notch his name
in the record book. The Raptors’ streak began in a 102-92 victory against
Minnesota on February 26, 1999. Chris Bosh scored 24 points for the Raptors,
who snapped a three-game losing streak. Stephen Jackson scored 26 points
for the Pacers, who have dropped three of four. Foster posted 19 points,
all in the first half, along with 16 rebounds. Predrag Stojakovic
scored 18 points while Anthony Johnson added 10 in the loss.

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) – Richard Hamilton poured in 24 points as the
Detroit Pistons beat the Charlotte Bobcats, 94-78, at the Palace at Auburn
Hills. Tayshaun Prince posted 23 points and six assists and Tony Delk went 3-
for-3 from beyond the arc for 11 points for the Pistons, who won their 14th
straight home contest. Antonio McDyess finished with 10 points and 11 boards
and Rasheed Wallace netted 10 for Detroit, which has won nine of its last 12
games. Raymond Felton paced the Bobcats with 18 points and Melvin Ely added 15
points and six rebounds in the loss, Charlotte’s third in its last five
attempts. Jumaine Jones chipped in 13 points and 11 boards in the loss.

Oklahoma City, OK (Sports Network) – Vince Carter scored a game-high 27
points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assists for the New Jersey
Nets, who defeated the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets 95-84 at the Ford
Center. Jason Kidd totaled 15 points, 12 boards, and nine assists, Richard
Jefferson tallied 19 points and Nenad Krstic chipped in 17 points and eight
rebounds for the Nets, who have now defeated the Hornets six consecutive
times. Chris Paul scored 17 points and had seven helpers, while Speedy
Claxton came off the bench to contribute 12 points and five steals for the
Hornets, whose struggles continued with their sixth straight loss.

Sacramento, CA (Sports Network) – Kenny Thomas scored six of his 10 points in
the final minute as Sacramento held off Dallas 85-80 at Arco Arena. Brad
Miller posted 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Kings, whose record
ascended above .500 for the first time all season. Ron Artest scored 15
points, while Kevin Martin had 14. Dirk Nowitzki posted 24 points and 13
rebounds for the Mavericks, who had a three-game winning streak snapped.
Marquis Daniels scored 19 points. Jason Terry, who scored eight points in the
final three minutes, scored 14 points in the game. Jerry Stackhouse scored
13 points, while Erick Dampier added 11 rebounds.

Portland, OR (Sports Network) – Zach Randolph racked up 32 points and 14
rebounds to lead Portland to a 111-101 victory over Phoenix at the Rose
Garden. Darius Miles contributed 20 points off the bench and Steve Blake had
18 along with 13 assists to help the Trail Blazers win for just the second
time in 12 games. Shawn Marion had 20 points and 10 rebounds and Boris
Diaw also netted 20 points in the loss, the Suns’ second in three games.
Raja Bell finished with 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting before leaving the
game late because of a neck strain.
