Iverson out for at least one more game

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) – Philadelphia 76ers All-Star guard Allen
Iverson is out for Tuesday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors, and could
miss the team’s entire upcoming West Coast road trip.

An MRI on Monday revealed that Iverson sustained a sprain and contusion of the
right foot. The injury occurred at the end of the first half against Memphis
this past Sunday, when Iverson inadvertently stepped on a ball boy’s foot
while backpedaling after a shot. He did not return, but the Sixers held on to
beat the Grizzlies, 94-91.

After tangling with the Raptors at the Wachovia Center, Philadelphia will head
west to face Seattle, the LA Clippers, and Golden State. Iverson is officially
listed as doubtful for the road swing.

The 6-foot, 165-pound slasher is averaging 33.2 points and 7.4 assists per
game this season.
