Bucks wrap up homestand vs. Bulls

(Sports Network) – The Milwaukee Bucks conclude a three-game homestand
tonight against the Chicago Bulls at the Bradley Center.

Milwaukee opened the homestand with a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, but
rebounded with Monday’s 88-87 win over the Atlanta Hawks.

Bobby Simmons led a balanced attack with 18 points. Michael Redd tallied 16
points and T.J. Ford totaled 14 points and eight assists for the Bucks, who
put the brakes a five-game home losing streak.

The Bucks, who are clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the
Eastern Conference, are 18-14 at home this season.

Chicago attempts to win its third game in a row. On Tuesday, Ben Gordon led a
balanced Bulls attack with 23 points and seven rebounds, as they defeated the
Portland Trail Blazers, 95-66, at the United Center.

Kirk Hinrich netted 14 and dished out seven assists, while Andres Nocioni
ended with 13 points in the win over Portland for the Bulls.

The Bulls are just 14-18 as the visitor this season. They have split their
last four contests on the road.

Milwaukee is 1-2 versus the Bulls this season. It won the first meeting on
January 2nd, but the Bulls came back with wins on January 6th and February
22nd.

The Bucks are tied with Philadelphia for No. 7 in the Eastern Conference. The
Bulls are on the outside of the playoff race, as they are 2 1/2 games behind
Milwaukee and the Sixers.
