Orlando getting hot too late

(Sports Network) – The Orlando Magic have won three of their last four games,
but it won’t help this team in their quest for a playoff berth.

The Magic have been solid since a six-game losing streak, and on Wednesday
against the Utah Jazz, Jameer Nelson had 25 points and nine assists as Orlando
edged Utah in overtime, 114-108, at TD Waterhouse Centre.

Hedo Turkoglu scored 20 points while Tony Battie posted 19 points and seven
rebounds for Orlando. Dwight Howard had a double-double with 16 points and 11
boards in the win.

After Friday’s game with Boston, the Magic will hit the road for two games at
Atlanta and Charlotte. Orlando is 17-14 as the host this season.

Friday’s game will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between
Orlando and Boston.

The Magic are 2-1 after posting wins on November 28 in Boston and February 4
in Orlando. Boston countered with a home victory on February 12.

The Celtics have won five of the last seven meetings, but have dropped four of
six in Orlando.
