Battle of the busts takes place in Atlanta

(Sports Network) – Two of the NBA’s worst teams square off this afternoon in
Atlanta, as the Hawks host the Orlando Magic at Philips Arena.

Atlanta has lost four in a row and six of its last seven games, including
Friday’s 111-101 home loss to the Utah Jazz.

Joe Johnson had 25 points to lead the Hawks. Zaza Pachulia tallied 19 points
and 15 rebounds, while Al Harrington finished with 19 points for Atlanta. Josh
Smith had 18 points for the Hawks.

Atlanta has dropped three of its last four games at Philips Arena and is 13-19
as the host this season.

The Magic, meanwhile, have won two in a row and four of their last five games,
including Friday’s 84-77 triumph over the Boston Celtics.

Dwight Howard scored 18 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and notched a season-high
six blocked shots to lead Orlando.

Jameer Nelson scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Magic, while
Hedo Turkoglu scored 18 points, grabbed nine boards, and tied his career-high
of four steals.

After going 2-0 on a brief homestand, the Magic will hit the road where they
have dropped 14 in a row. The Magic haven’t won outside the TD Waterhouse
Centre since beating Philadelphia in overtime on January 26.

Orlando is only 6-27 as the visitor this season.

The Magic are 0-1 so far in the season series with Atlanta after dropping a
96-94 decision on February 3. Johnson’s jumper with seven-tenths of a second
remaining gave Atlanta the win.

The two teams will meet again on March 26 and April 10.

Orlando has won three of the last five meetings and six of nine against the
Hawks. The Magic, though, have dropped two straight and six of 10 in Atlanta.
