Felton feeling the frustration
(Sports Network) – A year ago, Raymond Felton was on the verge of becoming an
NCAA champion as a member of the North Carolina Tar Heels.
One year later he’s making the big bucks, but has been hampered with
abdominal pain which prevented him from Sunday’s 102-95 loss to the Memphis
Felton, though, was back at practice this week. He is expected to play in
Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. In 69 games this season, Felton is
averaging 10.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
In other injury news, the Bobcats could be without center Primoz Brezec for
some time. Brezec missed Monday’s practice and Tuesday’s shootaround with back
spasms. He is posting 12.3 points and 5.5 points in 69 games this season.
Charlotte, which has lost three in a row and seven of eight, has already
eclipsed the team mark in wins at 19-52. It posted 18 wins in last year’s
inaugural season (18-64).
The Bobcats are 3-6 in their last nine home games and 13-21 as the host this
season. After Tuesday’s home game against the Atlanta Hawks, the Bobcats will
host Chicago, Cleveland and Minnesota.
