Nuggets’ Hodge hospitalized after shooting
Denver, CO (Sports Network) – Denver Nuggets rookie guard Julius Hodge is
hospitalized in fair condition following a shooting early Saturday morning.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said Hodge was driving along Interstate 76

“We have learned that Julius Hodge was the victim of a shooting this morning,”
said Nuggets general manager Kiki Vandeweghe in a statement. “There is no
apparent motive for this shooting and detectives from the Adams County

informed us that he is in fair condition and is expected to make a full
recovery. That is all the information we have at this time. We ask that you
respect his privacy.”
Hodge was the 20th overall pick of the 2005 NBA Draft out of North Carolina
State. He has spent time in the NBA’s Developmental League and in 14 games
