Sacramento trying stay away from No. 8 in West

(Sports Network) – The Sacramento Kings (41-37) are battling for
playoff positioning, as they are tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for No. 7 in
the Western Conference playoff race.

On Tuesday, the Kings attempt to extend their winning streak to four games
when they welcome the Phoenix Suns to ARCO Arena. It is the fourth and final
meeting of the campaign between the clubs. The teams split a pair of contests
at Phoenix, while the Kings defeated the Suns, 119-90, on January 17th at ARCO

Phoenix has lost two straight and 10 of its last 11 at Sacramento.

The streaking Kings play the finale of a brief two-game homestand against the
Suns. On Sunday, Brad Miller scored 30 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead
Sacramento over the Houston Rockets, 86-77, at ARCO Arena.

Mike Bibby ended with 23 points and six assists, while Ron Artest scored 15 in
the win over Houston for the Kings, who have won six of their last seven games

Sacramento is a solid 25-13 at home this season. It has won two in a row at
ARCO Arena.

The Kings are scheduled to play three of their final four games of the
regular season at home. Besides the Suns, they will host the Hornets and

Sacramento’s last road game is against the Denver Nuggets on April 15th at
the Pepsi Center.
