Auburn Hills, MI (Sports Network) – Tayshaun Prince had 22 points and seven
rebounds to lead the Detroit Pistons to a 109-98 win over the Milwaukee Bucks
in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference first-round series at the Palace.
Chauncey Billups added 20 points and six assists and Richard Hamilton had 18
points and eight assists for Detroit, which leads this best-of-seven set 2-0.
Rasheed Wallace had 12 points and eight rebounds for the top-seeded and two-
time defending conference champion Pistons, who won Game 1 92-74. Michael Redd
followed up a horrid Game 1 with a game-high 29 points to lead
the eighth-seeded Bucks, who will look to get back on track in Game 3 at the
Bradley Center on Saturday. T.J. Ford added 17 points for Milwaukee, which has
dropped five straight and nine of 12 playoff games dating back to 2003.

Dallas, TX (Sports Network) – Dirk Nowitzki dropped in a game-high 31 points
on 9-of-19 shooting from the field, as the Dallas Mavericks easily defeated
the Memphis Grizzlies, 94-79, in Game 2 of their first-round series at
American Airlines Center. Dallas now leads the best-of-seven set,
2-0, as the series shifts to Memphis with Game 3 scheduled for Saturday at
FedExForum. Jason Terry added 16 points and was 3-of-6 from beyond the arc
for fourth- seeded Dallas, which shot 44.9 percent from the field for the
game. Terry also dished out a game-high nine assists. Josh Howard netted 12
points in the first quarter and finished with 17 points and six rebounds. Pau
Gasol poured in 16 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had five assists for
fifth-seeded Memphis, which is still searching for its first-ever playoff

Phoenix, AZ (Sports Network) – Kobe Bryant dropped in 29 points, pulled down
10 rebounds and dished off five assists to lead the LA Lakers past the
Phoenix Suns, 99-93, in the second game of their Western Conference
quarterfinal matchup at the US Airways Center. Lamar Odom added 21 points,
seven boards and five helpers for the seventh- seeded Lakers, who evened
the series at one game apiece. Kwame Brown chipped in with 12 points while
Sasha Vujacic had 11 off the bench. Steve Nash had 29 points, seven
rebounds and nine assists for the second- seeded Suns, who knocked off the
Lakers, 107-102 in Game 1 of the set. Raja Bell recorded 23 points before
fouling out while Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw tallied 13 apiece in the loss.
The series now moves to Los Angeles for Game 3 on Friday.
